Claudia Danielson is a photographer and printmaker living and working in the Twin Cities but her roots belong to the rural landscape of the Red River Valley.

Her artistic practice remains dedicated to analog methods with a special interest in historical processes. She maintains a traditional darkroom and is a co-op artist at Highpoint Center for Printmaking.

Claudia teaches printmaking workshops at The Minnesota Center for Book Arts and is a teaching assistant in the printmaking studio at The Minneapolis College of Art and Design. She is a recipient of a Minnesota State Arts Board Grant as well as a Jerome Foundation Mentorship Grant through The Minnesota Center for Book Arts.

Her most recent projects explore themes of conservation and stewardship as it applies to our natural environment. She seeks quiet dramas within and at the edges of the landscape to illuminate the cost of human sovereignty as it relates to our delicate biosphere. Her work presents a call for awareness, sensitivity and personal connection.
