installation of Paper Dress
On Saturday I motored to the Arts Center of St. Peter to attend the opening reception of the exhibit Members + 1. The premise behind the exhibit is that members present current work alongside a fellow artist, mentor or influence. My dear friend Ann Fee who happens to be the executive director of the center, extended an invitation to me to be her plus 1. This was quite perfect because we have worked together on a number of projects - it wasn't difficult to settle on something to show. I met some lovely people who expressed a genuine interest in the work and asked smart and relevant questions. Very nice.
